Destiny and Limit

John Luke was very curious to know what life has in store for him. For so many years, he believed he can make it but at the end of all his struggles, he still saw himself in the same level he was. John was a blogger. He loves writing about motivational tips. Unknown to him, his writings have helped someone he never knew.

When it seems to John that all his effort in life were crashing, he decided to visit a soothsayer. The soothsayer did some chanting and told him that his future was bright as the sun and certain as the fact that the sun will rise from the east. John was excited. His joy knew no bounds. He went home celebrating. To him, all his sorrows were gone. He stopped what he had so much love in doing(blogging). He abandoned his work bearing in mind that after all, his future will be bright.

Years passed and nothing happened and at this time, John has lost all he had and was back to square one. Frustrated as he was, he went to the soothsayer to inquire from him while what he told him didn't to surface. The soothsayer told him that he ignored the essential things in life. The soothsayer said to him " How do you expect the trap you kept at home to kill an animal in the bush? If an animal festival is predicted do you expect it to be in your house or in the bush? How possible is it for you to reap where you do not sow? Our destiny are all bright, it only needs us to sacrifice something in order to get to it. Until you realize the amount of fuel needed for that journey, you are bound to get stranded on the way."

All this while, John never knew that his posts have helped a rich but frustrated man avoid suicide. It occured that On the day the rich man had decided to commit suicide, he had one last wish which is to read his favourite blog and this blog happened to be John's blog. Coincidentally, on that day, John had written something on suicide. This man read the post and became ashamed of his intended act. He worked towards erasing the thought in his mind with John's daily post. Along the line, this man decided to change the life of this life saving blogger from better to best, but he was disappointed when he realised that this life saving blogger was no longer doing what he was known for. He sent several emails to John asking him to continue with his work all of which John ignored. At the end, he concluded that John might be dead. So, he forgot about him and his blog.

Destiny is not something that comes to us, rather it is something that we go for. Your limit lies on the standard you gave to your life. It is often said that your destiny determines your limit. But in the actual sense, those who tends to believe this do not understand whatbDESTINY is all about. Destiny is that which is bound to occur in ones life and which seems to be unchanged. Life gave us only one limit to what we can attain and that is IMMORTALITY. No man is immortal. This inexorable limit imposed unto man by nature does not limit man from achieving beyond his wildest imagination.

However, man tends to impose on himself a limit. The world we live in today has too many unforeseen possibilities that are yet to be unfolded and until we bend down to look at this things, we are bound to be limited in the level of things we can do. Destiny they say is bound to occur but have you asked yourself if this destiny will come to play if you are not there. What is the main purpose of a car? is it not be used as a means of transportation? But this car can never move if you don't move it. That is the car's destiny and it can't be changed but it can remain unattained forever. The world needs you to function. We create limits for ourselves by drawing boundaries of excuses. We think we can't make it because we don't have the necessary resources, because we are not tall, because we are handicapped, because we do not have the opportunity, because the government is bad etc. Have you ever bent down to discover what your talent can do for you? Have you ever tried to turn your weakness to strength. If the musicians you know today haven't sat up to show case what they can do, they would have remained have remained in the"I sing for myself" groups of people and the world will be ignorant of them. 

Your destiny is in your hands. You have the ability to change your destiny. The world is only there to help you in which ever way you decide to follow. Your limit is your thought. That which you think of or bury your mind in and work towards it, is what you achieve. If you direct your thought on great things, you will end up making it great in life. Great men are people that do little things in a great way. If all you have got in you mind is centered on social life, you will notice that the things that comes to your path will always be social activities that might end up adding little or nothing to your life. Think now that you still have the time to make a change in life before it is too late. Time waits for no man. The only limit in your is you and the inevitable death.
